Semi-Protection

Hi! My name is Jamesjpk. When I was adding a recent notice I wanted to add to your Spanish Wikipedia Talk Page, I got an access denied message. On the Spanish Wikipedia, I realized that I was not a user that is able to edit semi-protected pages. I find this troubling, as I want messages to you to be answered quickly. I realize that you may have this protection for a reason. I think that many non Spanish Speakers, do not edit enough on the Spanish wikipedia, to bypass a semi-protection lock.
