"Antagonists" category[edit]

Outstanding work being WP:BOLD enough to move them into the "antagonists" category. "Villains" is such an unprofessional and POV term; "antagonist" is the proper and encyclopedic term, and you did/are doing a huge favor to the encyclopedia with this one. It appears what you did was a result of a CfD nomination. Unfortunately, that is not the time to unilaterally rename the category; you should leave a suggestion/vote on the page, or wait until afterward, as per the CfD guidelines. — Deckill er 06:23, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Leaving aside our disagreement over the issue[edit]

If in future a similar disagreement should arise, please don't try to solve it by emptying out categories that are up for deletion. The CfD notice on the categories clearly explains that the categories are not to be emptied. Assuming that consensus is to merge the old "villain" categories and delete your new "antagonist" categories a lot of extra work will now need to be done. I noticed that you had voted to keep the category of Fictional Characters by Superpower on the march 7th CFD. Just in case you didn't yet notice, Raidant!'s decision to listify them was put up for review, and another vote started on the 14th. It seems those of us in favor of keeping the categories are losing the debate, and I was hoping you could lend your voice once more so we can keep them --Piemanmoo 20:10, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
