P.S. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page. :)
Please slow down in posting new articles until you've read the Help pages. --Several Times 17:33, 15 July 2005 (UTC) I did --Crimnals 17:34, 15 July 2005 (UTC)
I suggest you go and fill in some extra information on some of the article you have created. One-sentence articles are subject to immediate deletion, whether or not the subject is worth writing about. Three or four sentence ones are usually kept. Thanks. DJ Clayworth 17:36, 15 July 2005 (UTC)
Please have a look at Wikipedia:Manual of Style. There are some key points for writing a good article.
- Use the article title in the first sentence. So rather than "He is a photographer" write "Fred J Bloggs (1899-2004) is a Swiss photographer who specialises in taking photographs of mountains at night. He won the Yodeleihu prize in 1977." (I'm making this up of course).
- For anyone reasonably famous you should be able to find birth and death dates and nationality for anyone worth of an article.
- Make the first use of the article title bold.
- If you wrte a short article, please add {{stub}} at the bottom of the article. DJ Clayworth 17:42, 15 July 2005 (UTC)
