Can someone tell me what abusing multiple accounts means? I have only tried to edit wikipedia this once. Cundallini (talk) 23:34, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Betcha his next tactic is to say it was his brother... HalfShadow 22:48, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Abusing his brother? How sad. :( ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 22:55, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
What on earth are you talking about? I used to read portal of evil many years ago and happened on a conversation about the old man murray article getting deleted. I read up on what was going on and thought that it looked pretty unhealthy for someone who was featured on the site and wrote a bunch on the forums being the person to delete the article. I also happened on the previous deletion of portal of evil that only got one vote. That's why I left a message. That is the sum total of my involvement here. You guys may not have read the sites, but they were funny as hell back in the day. Cundallini (talk) 22:59, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The only time Portal of Evil was ever "funny" is the day its article was deleted from here. Old Man Murray will hopefully become "funny" in turn. HalfShadow 23:01, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Whoa! Are you the guy who used to post to poe as halfshadow? Can it really be that you are the same person? Cundallini (talk) 23:13, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
From what little I've seen of that sewage pit, I wouldn't waste my time there. [User:HalfShadow|Half]]Shadow 23:15, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
http://www.google.com/search?q=halfshadow+site%3Aportalofevil.com That seems like more than a little... Just sayin' Cundallini (talk) 23:19, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, because more than one person on the internet can't use the same name. Oy. HalfShadow 23:22, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
So, are you saying that you are not the halfshadow from POE? Just to be clear. Cundallini (talk) 23:24, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Try putting "halfshadow canada site:portalofevil.com" into google. It sure seems like a funny coincidence then. Cundallini (talk) 23:27, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That's a matter of taste. YMMV. What does your opinion of whether it was funny have to do with whether someone who was involved with the site should be doing the deleting? What does that have to whether the article should exist or not? Cundallini (talk) 23:03, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You seem to know a lot of history here. What accounts did you used to edit under? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 23:05, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I just saw your note about the origins of Cundallini. I had no idea it meant boomerang. I got it from Mad Max. "Cundallini wants his hand back..." Cundallini (talk) 23:09, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I wouldn't count on that etymology being totally accurate. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 23:18, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have never edited before this. The discussion I read linked to the various pages. Is it impermissible to question the deletion for an article about a site you liked? Why would/should that be the case? Cundallini (talk) 23:07, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have a question regarding the OMM deletion page... Why would IP users votes not count? Cundallini (talk) 23:11, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Because there's no way to be sure it's not the same guy voting over and over under different IP's. Not that you've ever edited under an IP, right? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 23:18, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I haven't edited wikipedia before. Period. I didn't vote on the deletion page. Period. We're doing the world's slowest message board here. I've said my piece. Make of it what you will... Cundallini (talk) 23:21, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, one last thing. When I wrote on the admin noticeboard about Schuminweb's long and checkered past with OMM and POE, I meant his involvement on those sites. Sorry if that was unclear. Cundallini (talk) 23:23, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Seems like maybe I shouldn't have been blocked indefinitely for posting that notice[edit]

" * Strong overturn In accordance with points stated above; also the discussion during the original AfD was inconclusive at best. I would also like to express my discomfort at seeing a clear COI with regard to SchuminWeb and OMM, as detailed on Rock, Paper, Shotgun (see links above). --Mister Six (talk) 15:27, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

   * Strong overturn I feel that given the copious research done on this subject and linked above, OMM does meet notability requirements. Also, there is a clear COI here from the nominator SchuminWeb, who should face some kind of disciplinary action for using the deletion process to further personal vendettas. thewittyname (talk) 15:39, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

Can someone please unblock me?Cundallini (talk) 16:12, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Cundallini (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Given the movement on the underlying issue, it appears that an admin may have jumped the gun on indefinitely blocking me after 1 edit that was not vandalism. Please review my contribution history to verify. Cundallini (talk) 04:06, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

Decline reason:

You share a the same IP as a blocked user Vigilant (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki). Additionally, CheckUser  confirms that you are a sock of Cherohonkee (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki). Tiptoety talk 06:07, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

It's not the edit history from this account that is the problem: it's the similarity (and underlying IP address) with other edits that is the problem. Trust me, nobody jumped any guns here (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 05:42, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
