Hi cycloneim! Hope all is well, I see you still passing on knowledge and reducing confusion :) Just thought I'd let you know - in case you missed a couple of editors are trying to revitalize the Medicine Collaboration of the week ( now collaboration of the month ). Also whilst I was performing a little digging around the Medicine project found a couple of departments that aren't active and we could reduce the number of these to ensure editors are funneled into more active ones and form larger groups. I think we split our resources up too much in the past and until we build up numbers again the smaller ones won't be able to take off. I see you initiated and put efforts into Wikipedia:WikiProject Medicine/Featured topics project but didn't have enough takers.. shame. I've suggested at the new collaboration that we could broaden scope to try other tasks rather than single articles - we're going to stick to single articles for now to build up momentum, but think that could be a good venue for getting a Featured topic in future. Well - it is summer! I should have put thinking cap on a bit tighter - I meant semi/in-active rather than historical. A featured medicine topic is a worthy and hard goal- one day eh? Maybe we should put a note as such on the top.. i.e. this will be the first one and will take some time! I might struggle with the current collab - have just re - realized my slight phobia about blood flow - but will be hanging around there :( ! Lee∴V (talk • contribs) 12:32, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
