I'm about 99% certain that the user DCist who vandalized my Kate Michael page on February 12 and February 13, 2007 is actually a man named Martin Austermuhle, who writes for an online publication called the DCist... On January 25, 2006, Martin wrote a VERY scathing article in the DCist putting down 2005 Miss DC Shannon Schambeau. On March 21, 2007, he wrote a very similar article on her successor (Kate Michael) in which he put down Kate and other previous winners that weren't born in the district...
The evidence is all right there - no one else at the DCist writes about beauty pageants... Here are the links to his work at DCist:
