Your first edit

[edit]

I hate to do it to you on your first edit, but I have had to revert the edit that you made to HMAS Toowoomba (J157). This is not to say that the reason for the crew's replacement is incorrect. However, all content added to Wikipedia has to be verifiable through the use of reliable, published sources (such as published books, newspaper or magazine articles, or anything where there is likely to be some kind of editorial oversignt), and unfortunately, I believe that a personal diary like the one you took the information from (I'm assuming the diary was written by your father or grandfather?) does not meet these inclusion guidelines.

I hope this doesn't put you off contributing to Wikipedia. If you have any questions about this or anything else, please drop me a line at User talk:Saberwyn, my talkpage. -- saberwyn 06:08, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
