Please do not accuse me of making biased changes when I am just trying to keep her article factually correct. I don't see why we would compare Mary J. Blige and Ashanti. Why don't you take a look at Mary J. Blige's article? You will see that she is NOT categorized as hip hop in either the intro or the infobox, so what is your point? She is categorized as hip hop soul which is a subgenre of contemporary R&B that features hip hop production. I think it would be fine to add hip hop soul to Ashanti's article (although subgenres should generally be avoided), but to categorize her as hip hop is factually incorrect. --musicpvm 03:06, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
