Hello. I note your PROD proposal for the above player, but I object to deletion and so have removed the notice as allowed by the template text. In brief, my central objection is that in cricket, whether or not a player is professional is not necessarily a reliable guide to the level at which he plays. I have explained my reasoning in more depth on Parker's Talk page, but please feel free to come back to me if you don't think I've made the case. - Given that information, it might be best to defer to the project to discuss. They have more specific guidelines than WP:ATHLETE, and that's what editors on this side of the pond are more likely to use. So for now this is the end of the matter. :) DarkAudit (talk) 23:59, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
