Chessington buses revisited

[edit]

Although the research work on the bus routes is astonishingly detailed and must have taken quite some effort, without reputable independent substantiation it cannot stand. (To be fair, for the nature of the article, it's rather over detailed. Routes are useful, but the minutae bus types and so forth are just a little too anorak to be useful to what is essentially a simple ovreview for a global audience.) Unless references are added fairly soon, I plan on editing the section down fairly heavily before New Year.

Please don't take it personally. The amount of effort you must have put into gathering the information is quite incredible, and I recognise it, but as mentioned before there is the issue of policy as reagards original research. Encyclopaedia articles are derived from secondary, not primary research.

Perhaps you could take that research and turn it into a specialist article for another medium or site? (If you apply the same kind of ability to your academic studies, they should be a doddle!) -- Cain Mosni 15:44, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
