What are you trying to do at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2007 March 12. It looks like you're trying to create a list of actors on the categories for deletion/discussion page. Are you trying to create a category? Mike Dillon 02:09, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

FYI, I've created Category:Texas cast members, which is what I believe you were trying to do. I have added it to the Lee Patterson article as an example. Mike Dillon 02:14, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please listen to what I am saying. Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2007 March 12 is the wrong place to put the information your are adding. You need to build out the category by placing "[[Category:Texas cast members]]" at the bottom of the actor articles you want to show up in the category. The will then be automatically listed at Category:Texas cast members. Please stop. Mike Dillon 02:23, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What exactly are you trying to do? Please respond on this page. Mike Dillon 02:31, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

PLEASE! Why will you not respond? You do not know what you are doing. Please ask for help, or read Help:Categories. Mike Dillon 02:36, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A million thanks Mike. I got carried away trying to create a cast list. I've been adding Texas credits to the various actors who appeared and wanted to model my list on one I had seen from Another World.

No problem. The list for Another World is also a category (Category:Another World cast members). Articles are added to categories by adding the category tag to the articles themselves, not by editing the category itself. The category page itself is only used to describe what the category is for. Mike - Many thanks again for assistance. The new category now has 29 entries. I've credited you on a "Texas" fan site. See http://soaptexas.proboards52.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=wherearetheynow&thread=1159555384&page=1

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
