RESPONSE:

[edit]

Hello and thank you for the information. I understand the intent of the COI guidelines, but would like to explore whether the information may be updated. I am the originator of the post which was created several years ago. There were no objections at the time when I created it. I work for the company and the intent of the post is to supply information about the company that is used by several public company information sources that rely on Wikipedia links to describe their subjects. The most prominent example is on Google Finance found at https://www.google.com/finance/quote/ARC:NYSE. The most recent edits was an update of objective and sourced information that was no longer correct (services offered, financial information). If I am no longer permitted to edit this post, it should be taken down as it is no longer accurate but still being used by third parties. That being said, are their exceptions I can request to maintain the post?

Any input is appreciated.
