[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, you may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did in Jerome Charyn, makes it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. // Chris (complaints)(contribs) 19:57, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're right, the manual of style is daunting. Really the best way to get a feel of Wikipedia's style is simply to read a lot of articles. Regarding your edit, there were two main problems. The tone appeared to be more promotional/conversational, and you made a lot of assertions without formal references. The information you added would be much more useful if you had sources, especially for the review blurbs. Good luck on the next try! // Chris (complaints)(contribs) 20:47, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
