In case of doubt, there's a handy definition at en.wiktionary.org/wiki/sans, but just in case, I used it on this revision as a synonym for "minus".

Which is why Sans Serif fonts are called that. Because they don't have serifs.

And since sans undertale from hit game Undertale takes his name from that, that means his entire identity is a pun on clinical depression.
