Why do you think the paper is puffery?

Please give me more explanation why you think the paper is puffery. These papers went through strict peer review in well established conferences in data mining and social media studies. The one is accepted to conferences called ICWSM and another is accepted to SDM. This is the very first work that provide insights to the platform operation with relation to Twitter. The statement "Bluesky is widely regarded as one of the most promising alternatives in the competitive social media landscape" seems to meet the definition at MOS:PUFFERY, and I can't find this claim in the paper. To be clear, I'm not calling the paper puffery - just this claim. Also, this isn't relevant to the puffery designation, but based on your username, I'm guessing you're author 1 on the paper - is that the case? Sorry, I was actually not familiar with REFSPAM because I just started Wikipedia and trying to understand how it works by editing some stuff that I am knowledgeable about. I also agree that statement was a bit off... In the paper, it claims that migrated users from Twitter to Bluesky tend to use it as a complementary platform, and, therefore, there is still growing pattern of using Bluesky while other platforms fail in retaining the migrated users who they once attracted in the begining. Please understand that I wanted to try some edits by making some slight changes but will put more effort to avoid any confusion. Thanks Ujeong1 (talk) 00:23, 5 January 2024 (UTC)

I have one pervious account that I abandoned under WP:CLEANSTART, because it was unavoidably tied to my real-life identity. It had under 100 edits, and a period of several years elapsed between its final edit and this account's first one, during which time I did not edit Wikipedia. I will not disclose its username publicly, but will provide it to ArbCom confidentially if requested by them to do so. Being familiar with Wikipedia is not suspicious. Have fun with your witch hunt. Understood. My intent was to improve an article that I've been working on since 2021, before I had any interaction with that user at all, and I interpreted your message on ANI as a "decline to investigate this ANI and please don't interact on unrelated articles" rather than "please limit interactions overall". The behavior I was originally concerned about has been seen by an administrator at this point, so I have no desire to push the issue further, and out of an abundance of caution wrt this warning, am unwatching the pages in question and will not be attempting to improve them further.
