Tegenaria Domestica

Hi. I have a question about the picture you made from this spider, and uploaded as Male T.Domestica. Because it looks more like a species of sac spider to me. I'd like to ID it further, but in order to do that I'd need some more info. Do you remember roughly the size, where when and at what time of day you found it? Did you disturb it or did you find it prowling? Did it move slow or fast?

Hi! Well. I don't remember the size, but I just went back to the exact spot and checked the patterns on the wall. Given that, the body was ~8mm long. There is a timestamp attached to the picture, which is 5 June 2017, 21:20. Where? In one of my basement rooms, in southern Germany. It didn't move at all, and no, I didn't disturb it. :o Why would I disturb such a nice little spider?

Hi. Sorry for the very late reply. I asked about disturbing not to see if you're cruel, but to find out if the spider was either scared out of its web or just walking about/sitting there. Because in the picture the spider just sits on the bare wall, without a web, which is unusual behaviour unless it's a hunter spider prowling about often sitting still when lights go on. At first glance it seems like a sac spider, perhaps even the liocranum rupicola. I could be wrong about the exact species although it's almost certainly a type of de:sackspinne.
