Managing a conflict of interest

Thank you for your message. I now understand the ethical rules that govern the right to edit on Wikipedia. I am relatively new to Wikipedia. I am not the author of the page on which I edited. It is about me, it is true, but I only intervened for the sake of precision.

I am an author and novelist. When I discovered this page on Wikipedia, a few years ago, I realized that it was very imprecise on several points, and very incomplete. This is why I took the initiative to intervene. The details that I added are true, and have no advertising objective. My intentions are honest, and my only concerns are precision, and the updating of obsolete information.

If you prohibit me from intervening again in the future, I will obey, and will not do so again. But I would appreciate it if you would allow me to do so if necessary. I promise not to abuse this privilege.

Please let me know your decision.
