If you believe that Merckx has some TTTs among his 34 stage wins, then why have you added the note about this type of stage only to Armstrong? If, on the other hand, he has more than 34 wins once TTTs are included, you are presenting the information unequally. It is for you, as the one adding the info, to ensure that it is equitably presented and accurate. I would suggest a reference to validate your claim that ASO credit individuals with a stage win when their team wins a TTT would be in order. Finally, please note that new comments should be added to the bottom of a talk page, and should be signed with 4 tildes, so that the date and wiki-details of the poster are given.
