in reply to your question on the Reboxetine

it dosent appear that it will ever be approved especially because know there is no company willing to pay for additional testing or lobbying because the patent has expired.

im not a doctor however none of my comments are pov the only medication listed here that ive taken is wellbutrin (ive taken other ssri's) im in a similar situation and did about five hours worth of research today this website was very helpful http://www.psychotropical.com/ remember before taking anything in wp under advisment including my statements Fact check everything!!! 74.103.46.9 01:16, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

you probably shouldnt be on so many medications concurently Dinorama
Regardless what medications you are on Reboxetine will not replace all of them, No SSRI or SNRI will
there are only three medications that could probably replace them all
Clomipramine gold standard anti depressent tricyclic antidepressant
Emsam the safest MAOI
tranylcypromine The last line of defence MAOI

The other medications i listed only below are 'direct replacements' for Reboxetine

Try Wellbutrin Bupropion same class similar effects, lower incedence of side effects safer however not chemically similar
or Clomipramine more effective, cheap, tricyclic antidepressant
or nortriptylinemore effective then Reboxetine less effective then Clomipramine, not cheap, tricyclic antidepressant, fewer side effects then Clomipramine
or tranylcypromine the most effective, fewer side effects then the above tricyclic antidepressants however due to dietary restrictions common to this class MAOI (basically introducing potentialy life threatening food allergys) this is a drug of last defence
or Emsam a safer MAOI due to being a transdermal patch there are no dietary restrictions with lower doses, almost as effective as tranylcypromine 74.103.46.9 01:16, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
