What you're having for dinner is a good way to remember your password

I don't own a computer but I'm a huge fan of wikipedia & try to edit when friends are kind enough to let me use theirs. I used to edit from my university but typically did not bother with an account because I had trouble remembering them as they were just so random & campus computers did not seem to store passwords in their memories. I called this account "Dintonight" because my password could easily be remembered as what I had for dinner last night (I ate too much LOL!). Thank you so much for taking the initiative to block a user who was clearly flouting wikipedia's living person policiy. Wikipedia has all these excellent rules but a lot of users don't bother following them because they know how hard it is for anyone to enforce them. Thank you for laying down the law and enforcing standards. We need more admins like you to maintain the integrity of wikipedia as I feel it is one of the world's greatest resources. I am working to be a high school teacher and my goal is to get every member of a class to create a non-deleted wikipedia article about a notable subject that has not yet been covered in wikipedia. Isn't that a great way to teach kids about a new topic and how to navigate a new resource while also learning how to work cooperatively with strangers within a system with its own laws and government, enforce standards of accuracy and fairness, and deal firmly but intelligently with people who cause disruptions? What a great learning experience! Dintonight (talk) 12:02, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
