Living room[edit]

I'm sorry, but you cannot use that picture in living room, the license is fair use which only allows for it to be added to articles that talk about the game it is a screenshot from. --GraemeL (talk) 17:46, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I see you asked a question here and then removed it again. I presume you read the text on the license that you uploaded the image under. Where exactly did the image come from? It may be possible to change to a less restrictive license. --GraemeL (talk) 18:00, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I see there: It is believed that the use of a limited number of web-resolution screenshots and not:
Its rules and law that the use of a limited number of web-resolution screenshots
I am the living exception! Do! Run Run 18:04, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The section I am refering to is:

  • for identification and critical commentary on
  • the computer or video game in question or
  • the copyrighted character(s) or item(s) depicted on the screenshot in question

I'm afraid none of those apply to the article. I do like it and if it was under an appropriate license, it would make a good addition to the article. --GraemeL (talk) 18:09, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is only one recommendation and no exclusion criterion! I can read! Do! Run Run 18:11, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please read Wikipedia:Fair use. Specifically counterexample two, which is closest to the case here. --GraemeL (talk) 18:20, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I do not want to make anything wrong, I ad here better to the exact license text. Do! Run Run 18:32, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK. this is your last warning. If you add that image again, you are creating potential legal problems for the project. I will block you until such time as you undertake not to do so in the future. --GraemeL (talk) 18:34, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am not afraid, the truth is with me! Do! Run Run 18:40, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding reversions[1] made on June 26 2006 (UTC) to [[2]][edit]

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 18:39, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

I have blocked your account indefinitely. Please email me when you undertake not to add fair uses images to articles where they are not appropriate. You will be unblocked once such an undertaking has been given. This has been done to protect the project from possible legal repercussions. --GraemeL (talk) 18:46, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Never, my work for the Wikipedia is over. I search for me another free land without you. Do! Run Run 18:57, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Rome Total War - Barbarian Invasion.PNG. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. JoanneB 18:46, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
