Hi there,
I think that
Metal and Fire are active and have 1 associated trigram each (identical, what makes them super focused and strong), while Earth, Water and Wood/Air are passive and have 2 trigrams each, Earth+Mountain (solids), Water+Lake (liquids) & Wind+Thunder (gases) respectively.
Why do you think Lake should be associated with Metal/Ether/Spirit/Informaton and not with her mother - Water?
