Information icon Hello, I'm Bruce1ee. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Software development have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. —Bruce1eetalk 10:08, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Bruce1ee,
Thank you for reaching out and for your diligence in maintaining the quality of Wikipedia content. I appreciate your efforts to ensure that all external links meet Wikipedia's guidelines.
I added the link because I believed it would provide valuable and relevant information to readers interested in the topic of software development. However, I understand that the link may not have fully aligned with Wikipedia's standards.
Could you please provide more specific feedback on why the link was considered inappropriate? I’m eager to learn and ensure that any future contributions I make are in full compliance with Wikipedia’s policies.
Thank you again for your time and guidance.
Best regards,
Dolly Mishra DollyMishra23 (talk) 10:17, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The external link (xaltam.com) you added to Software development is for a commercial software company and is considered promotional as it is promoting their services. This is not permitted on Wikipedia (see WP:EXTPROMO). —Bruce1eetalk 11:06, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed you removed some sourced material from Umar Farooq Zahoor that was backed by reliable, published sources. This removal did not seem constructive and has been reverted. Please refrain from removing sourced information that is directly relevant to the article. Thank you. — Saqib (talk I contribs) 09:17, 12 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
