Speedy deletion of Team America Gaming Clan

I took a look at the deleted article and I hve to say that the deletion was proper. Wikipedia articles are limited to notable topics. The notability of a group is generally established by press coverage, awards, or similar 3rd-party recognition. Our relevant guidelines are at WP:ORG. There are thousands and thousands of clubs that may do fine work but are simply not notable in a global encyclopedia. There are some other wiki projects, such as at Wikia, that might be more open to hosting content on a video game clan. ·:· Will Beback ·:· 21:22, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
