Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, DrDoirean. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Doirean Wilson, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Dear Annh07,
What I was attempting to do was to update my Wikipedia profile as it is out of date and I no longer work at Middlesex University as I am now employed at the University of East London as an Associate Professor in Sustainability Management, which I thought I succeeded to do, but would really appreciate your help with this, i.e., replace my current profile with the one I updated. As previously advised, because you have a conflict of interest, you should not directly edit an article about yourself. To create an edit request regarding a conflict of interest you can follow the instructions here: Edit COI. Thank you. Annh07 (talk) 04:20, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
