Thanks

[edit]

for your persistent and consistent improvement of perth, western australia railway items. I think your captive audience might be much smaller than one could imagine - the editors who left their mark in the inconsistencies have long gone...and very few left to even consider aspects or discuss the rail content. The train/railway, and line/service distinctions are simply due to the various editors and their (in most cases) imposed values upon content and general article structure. No doubt we will pass as well.

Thanks. I find it so interesting that it just seems to be arbitrary rather than something deeper and more complicated. DrRespect (talk) 07:56, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Wow - thanks for your continued efforts, much appreciate the work... JarrahTree 00:40, 27 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This might be useful for you

[edit]

This source might be useful as a source for your railway diagrams. It can be found linked here on the Public Transport Authority website. Also, I looked at your sandbox, do you reckon you could make a diagram of Bayswater station for when all the works there are done, as shown by this source? I think that would be useful to show in that article. Steelkamp (talk) 09:33, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks - that looks like it has a lot of useful info on it.
I'm more than happy to make a diagram of the future Bayswater station - I haven't done so yet because I haven't been able to find enough information on the track layout. I could definitely add the turnbacks shown in the upgrade fact sheet you posted, but I haven't been able to find any diagrams that show exactly how the Morley-Ellenbrook line is intended to link in (about the extent of my knowledge is that it diverges before the Airport line does and it initially has some viaduct structure). I don't think what the diagram labels as the "Morley-Ellenbrook Line" and "Midland Line" actually refer literally to those lines because of the way the diagram shows both MEL tracks split from the Midland-bound track and both Midland tracks split from the Perth-bound track.
