Re:Thank you

[edit]

No problem. It is pretty easy to find categories most of the time. Just use the categories of the next higher rank in the taxonomy tree if this has an article (i.e. use the categories of the genus if you make a species page, of the (sub)family if you make a genus page, etc.). You'll get the hang of it if you stick around. Keep up the good work! Ruigeroeland (talk) 18:28, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This in Reference to your above article. Since you are a new editor, you seem not accustomed to the wiki ways... I put a welcome message and you'll get some idea how about going... And always sign off with four tildes '~' so that your message carries your name and the other person does not have to find/ search you out. DebashisMTalk 16:15, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

Hello, DrRickZTTwo, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! The above welcome message in itself is a wonderful tool as it has all the useful links. Go through the tutorial section from the same and you'd be able to do a fine job thereafter. If you face any problem, as a Welcome Committee Member, I'd be there to help you out.

Hello, DebashisM, I have no idea if you are still part of the Wiki community or whether I thanked you at the the time, but I now thank you for being so welcoming. Since 2012 , my life has been turned upside down by the rare motor neurone disease, Primary Lateral Sclerosis, and I very much suspect that this message dates from a moment in time when I was given a painkiller, Nortriptyline, which did a great deal of damage to my memory and which it has taken years to overcome. I hope that I sign off correctly DrRickZTTwo (talk) 00:33, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
