Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia! See WP:FIRST for a quick idea of what we're looking for in your first article, Ethanol Induced Non-Lamellar Phases in Phospholipids. Please don't sign articles; signatures, and discussion, go on talk pages, and I've moved your comments in the article to that article's talk page. And there's no need to add {{hangon}} to the page; I have already declined the "speedy" deletion, but it's still possible that someone could nominate the article for a 7-day deletion discussion. Leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. - Dan Dank55 (push to talk) 01:01, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like some folks got to your talk page before I was able to. I peeked at the article this morning, and it appears to be under construction, but nothing too terrible format wise. Are you still having the same difficulty you were having last night? I'm watching your talk page, so you can reply here. --Moni3 (talk) 13:11, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cite formatting

[edit]

I've tweaked the first repeating cite for you so you can see how it works but I'll try to explain it here. When you're citing the same source you can use a parameter instead of just <ref></ref>, you'd make the first one <ref name="something">Lodash blah blah blah </ref>. Then on the next time you need that same source you only have to add <ref name="something"/> and it will connect the cites to the same source in the reference notes. -- Banjeboi 00:40, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I got inspired by the challenge and cleaned up a few more cites. Try not to bundle two together; I split up a couple and hope that doesn't cause any problems. -- Banjeboi 13:04, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
OK, did a bit more, hope it helps. -- Banjeboi 06:55, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nominate for GA?

[edit]

Hi, Dream22.

I see that you have completed your assignment. It looks to be quite impressive. I encourage you to nominate the article for GA so that a Wikipedian can assess its criteria and list it as a Good Article. It might take a few weeks for someone to get to it. When they do, they will leave some messages on the talk page of the article requesting you to make some changes within a period of time, usually 7 days. FYI, I would suggest adding more links in the article, giving it a proofread (read it out loud to someone - that always helps - I noticed a sentence fragment and a misspelling), and consider breaking paragraphs. Some of the paragraphs are quite long. General readers find it easier to read through smaller paragraphs. To get it to GA, you would have to check back on the article for the next several weeks.

I'm glad you got something out of the editing process. I hope to see you return to edit articles related to your area of study, or just issues you find interesting. Thank you. --Moni3 (talk) 17:10, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your question

[edit]

Hi, Dream22. The log indicates that the heading of the articles is changed. In this case it was non-controversial change per WP:MOS. It says that, the initial letter of a title is capitalized (except in very rare cases, such as eBay). Otherwise, capital letters are used only where they would be used in a normal sentence. NowCommons: File:Final Image.jpg

[edit]

File:Final Image.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Final Image.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Final Image.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 05:20, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
