Your proposed article
[edit]Your article EXOPC needs a bit more work:
- The proposed title should not be an acronym unless it is overwhelmingly known by that acronym, e.g. NATO instead of North Atlantic Treaty Organization. I note from the company website, there are several places where the name is "ExoPC", so you need to investigate what the title should be.
- You also need to decide whether this article is about the company or the product, because it starts off about the company but meanders into the product.
- The article appears to have eight references, but:
- Three of those references are Wikipedia pages, which is discouraged by WP:CIRCULAR. Instead you can link to those articles like this - [[Tablet PC#Slates|Slate Computer]] which produces this -> Slate Computer.
- One reference links to the Ciara-Tech website but it is not clear where they state that they are working with ExoPC. I am sure it is in there somewhere but we need the exact page.
- Although the "laptopmag.com", "hi-fieds.com", and "engadget.com" reviews appear to be fairly good, I would recommend reading WP:NEWSBLOG and making sure that the people who wrote those reviews are professionals working for those organizations.
- In the external links, there is mention of Pegatron, but it is not clear how that is related to ExoPC. I would also recommend reading WP:EL and keep the external links section to a minimum. Obviously that does not apply to reliably sourced third-party references.
- I would also recommend using templates to improve the presentation, e.g. for the specs use {{Infobox information appliance}}.
- I have dealt with some of the more pressing matters like the name, the layout, the use of the Infobox and the three Wikipedia links. Don't be too alarmed by the significant difference between your last edit and now, because this is what will be needed to make it into a good article. Green Giant (talk) 06:56, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
