How to contribute constructively on Talk:Black Hebrew Israelites

[edit]

Hi Drunkonthursday. I'm afraid that you won't get anywhere trying to argue the literal truth of religious viewpoints. Religious viewpoints are not provably true or false, and it would not be for Wikipedia to arbitrate that anyway. The BHIs have a religious belief about their decent that is not provable as scientific or historical fact. We don't treat it as fact but nor do we treat it as falsehood. We treat it as a religious belief and write about it in that context.

You are welcome to discuss how we can improve the article but I must insist that we have no more attempts to invalidate the legitimacy of Jewish people. Whether you intend it or not, that is antisemitism and it is not a legitimate part of any discussion here on Wikipedia. --DanielRigal (talk) 18:45, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
