Hi I'm David[edit]

Hi I'm David, nice to meet you all. I am a student at PSU working towards my IT degree. I'm new to Wikipedia, but I'm learning the ropes so please don't hesitate to give em a hand. Dstrausser83 (talk) 21:09, 9 August 2012 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of David Strausser[edit]

Hello, Dstrausser83. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, David Strausser, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Why would you want to delete it as this individual was the first, white and non-Mexican, non-Latino spokesperson in the foreign press for the country of Mexico. It was an historic role for race relations in the country of Mexico.

Nomination of David Strausser for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article David Strausser is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/David Strausser until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. NorthBySouthBaranof (talk) 07:04, 5 February 2017 (UTC)

User:NorthBySouthBaranof you are not a very nice person and seems you do not care much about human and civil rights and the fights people have to put up to achieve things so others can dream. I gave you a full explanation as requested and removed the tag you said I could on your other post and then you go and nominate the page to be deleted. Why? You could not even respond directly to my comments. I gave a full explanation on the context of the article and you just ignore them and delete. Thanks.

I have addressed your comments on my talk page. The fact of the matter is, writing autobiographies is frowned upon on Wikipedia, and your claim that you are not really David but a "relative" is extraordinarily hard to believe, given your username and other clues. Even taking you at good faith and assuming you are a relative, that would still be a significant conflict of interest and you should not be writing articles about your close relatives. I have linked to you our policies and guidelines relating to biographies and notability, and I strongly suggest you read them, along with the autobiography and conflict of interest rules. Your personalizing this matter won't help. NorthBySouthBaranof (talk) 07:35, 5 February 2017 (UTC)

User:NorthBySouthBaranof -- would you like my ID? Please come to Pennsylvania and meet the family lines and how most men in the family have a select few names and most students go to 1 or 4 colleges and then they move away like we did. Please do not keep embarrassing yourself. Dstrausser83 (talk) 08:04, 5 February 2017 (UTC)

It's really not hard to figure out these things when you've linked your personal website containing your resume in your autobiography and made a metric ton of COI edits for your employers from this account. I'll say no more out of respect for your privacy, but you should really rethink making up outlandish lies. NorthBySouthBaranof (talk) 08:43, 5 February 2017 (UTC)

Dstrausser83 You claim to be 'Daniel Strausser' enrolled at PSU, but their directories only show a David Strausser, not a Daniel Strausser. Not only that, but you literally identified yourself as David in this talk page back in 2012. That's some seriously low-effort sockpuppeting, friendo. 128.61.95.124 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 18:38, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
