Giganotosaurus and references

[edit]

Hello, DuckHunter235. I reverted your size estimate changes in Giganotosaurus back to what they had been, because they are attached to a source. In this case, if you go to And the Largest Theropod Is...., the author estimated the length of the longest Giga at 13.7 m, for example, not 16 m. Obviously, it would look silly if a reader went to that link and found different information. Three solutions are available: let the referenced size estimate sit; find a reputable source with a larger estimate and include this new reference; or find a 16 m long Giga and describe it in the scientific literature. I'm all for going to Patagonia, but the first route is the best way until new evidence comes up. Thank you! J. Spencer 05:10, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
