Gautam Seenivasan[edit]

Gautam Seenivasan (born June 10th 2000), also known as "Banana Slapman", is a former drug dealer and gun enthusiast who was highly active in the Houston, Texas area between 2016-2019. Gautam was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut and moved to the Houston area with his family at the age of two. Growing up, he was a avid player of the violin and piano, and excelled in academics, graduating high school at the age of 16. After he came back to Texas from Red River Academy, a troubled youth program in Lecompte, Lousiana that was shut down for human rights violations, Gautam started attending the University of St. Thomas, while simultaneously expanding his grasp of the lucrative illicit drug business using both "The Dark Web" and local sources. From 17-19 years of age, Gautam was arrested 4 different times for minor drug offenses, tampering with evidence, a high speed police chase, and more notably the 2019 case that garnered heavy media attention, dubbing him as "The Snapchat Shooter". It has been noted by his peers that he led a high stakes, fast lifestyle filled with partying and drugs, wrecking at least 6 cars in a 2 year span. Following his arrest in September of 2019 for Deadly Conduct/Discharging a Firearm, Seenivasan remained in custody for 6 months before being released out on bond in March, 2020. Since his last arrest, Seenivasan has continued his education at the University of Houston, and has made compelling effort to turn his life around. In a July, 2020 interview, he stated, "I'm ready to become a productive member of society, a law-abiding citizen, I used to be a scumbag". Since his last arrest, he has maintained that he has been clean and away from the use and sale of illegal narcotics for almost a year. Duckmobsaucer (talk) 20:33, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
