Hi. While I possibly should be flattered that your first ever contribution to Wikipedia is to prod one of my meticulously researched articles on police officers, I do think officers of that rank are inherently notable, as I have explained on the talk page. If they are not, then neither are all members of state legislatures, for instance (I think the third most senior officer of one of the most famous police forces in the world is probably more significant than a minor state representative, yet we would keep the latter by default). -- Necrothesp 15:27, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
