[edit]Hello, I'm Rusty4321. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Fortnite Festival, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Rusty4321 talk contribs 02:40, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
- defiantly going to credit the game as i did not spend 2 hours adding all the songs for nothing E7Lycan (talk) 02:43, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
- Please review WP:What Wikipedia is not before attempting to add the complete list of songs again. Another "defiant" edit is likely to be deemed intentional disruption, which could result in your account being blocked. —C.Fred (talk) 03:56, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
- I don't know if you are real or a bot but the Wikipedia is a place for people to find stuff out like eg. songs on the fortnite festival hence why I spent ages giving the people the information that is hard to find elsewhere. I don't get why you are listing the "wiki is not" as other games like Minecraft have massive sections like mine listing off entries in book songs etc. stop hiding basic info . - Thank you for pointing out that there is content at the Minecraft article that does not comply with Wikipedia policy. I'll take a look at that article as well. —C.Fred (talk) 11:34, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
- In the case of Minecraft, they released soundtrack albums to go along with the game, so that's presented in the context of an album.
- As far as Fortnite Festival, edit warring to get the content in the article isn't the way to get it in. However, looking at comparable articles like the Rock Band series of games, there are lists of songs for those games. I've responded to a discussion at Talk:Fortnite Festival about the list, and I've asked the editors who removed the list to chime in on how they think the information should be presented. —C.Fred (talk) 11:48, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
- i barely know how Wikipedia works but isnt there a way to do a drop down menu in its own bit separated from the "gameplay" area that hides it all unless the user clicks or a page called fortnite festival songs list as its own thing as i think that is how rock band does it. last thing what do you mean by edit warning as there isnt a button to warn people E7Lycan (talk) 15:12, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
- 1. It could be done as a collapsed table; that may not be the best way to do it. Part of the discussion at the talk page is about a separate article. 2. The term is edit warring. —C.Fred (talk) 19:42, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
