A tag has been placed on EMG,Ethnic Marketing Group Inc. requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.    7   talk Δ |   23:23, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

As a seasoned Hispanic Advertising Professional I was trying to create pages that will describe this discipline in more detail. The Hispanic Advertising and Hispanic Marketing topics must be open as effort to dignify end elevate the quality of Hispanic advertising and marketing by promoting the understanding of this areas; I was merely attempting to open entries that will clarify the difference between traditional advertising and Hispanic advertising; moreover I created those pages to start the topic I was not trying to be the last word but a work in progress that will evolve with contributions by my coleagues. If I did something wrong was not on purpose but with the best intentions. The entry about the company I work for I think its a valid contribution as I use wikipedia to research companies all the time and those descriptions help me greatly in the past to understand what companies are all about. If anything please let the The The Hispanic Advertising and Hispanic Marketing topics to live as I think they are a needed contribution.

Decline reason:

Regarding your articles, on Hispanic marketing and Hispanic advertising, I do recognize they are made in good faith but are probably not appropriate for Wikipedia; this is an encyclopedia, not a textbook or a how-to guide. Your edits have been exclusively ones that can be considered to promote the company EMG Ethnic that you are clearly representing here. This is a serious violation of our rules on spamming and conflicts of interest. If you want to be unblocked you'll have to agree to steer clear of edits that can be regarded as self-promotional; see WP:BESTCOI for the kind of behavior you'll be expected to follow. If you can do that, and you can also pick a name that is clearly personal rather than promotional, you can be unblocked. Mangojuicetalk 16:58, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Before you are unblocked, could you confirm some things for me? Will you request a new username at this page (your current name is closely related to a company name)? And will you read our info on writing neutrally, conflict of interest, and corporate notability/biographical notability? Remember, Wikipedia is a place for encyclopedia articles, not company listings nor promotional materials. TNXMan 11:51, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for answering Mango Juice and Tnxman EMGEthnic (talk) 21:48, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'll will request a new name with a personal connotation rather than a corporate one and I will read again the documents as soon as I can. I tried to change my name but with no luck. I'll greatly appreciate the un-block of my account.

Thank you again and I'll do my best to comply from now on.

Did you also read Mangojuice's info on WP:BESTCOI? You can be unblocked if you agree to steer clear of topics related to EMG Ethic. TNXMan 00:37, 18 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
