C. Ronaldo[edit]

Please stop using American English on the Christiano Ronaldo page, the article is in UK English and should therefore be kept consistant. This is in line with wikipedia's rules. Although not an actual rule, it is best to only use US English in American-centred articles, and UK/Commonwealth English in "neutral" articles. Either way, it's always best to keep spelling in line with the article. Cheers. hedpeguyuk.

But, having said that, if you were the user who changed Bobby Robson to Bryan Robson in the said article then thanks. That was my mistake. It orignally read Bobby Charlton and I meant to change it to Bryan Robson. I changed the surname to Robson, but forgot to change Bobby to Bryan. Thanks for that and welcome. hedpeguyuk 19 June 2006 18:30 (UTC)

Once again, please stop using US English in the article hedpeguyuk 11 July 2006 8:53 (UTC)

It was the edit you made at 5:05 (UTC) today (11th). You added two sources, but the paragraph of your first reference, (about the rolled up socks) you added "favorite" to a sentence. This would have been the second paragraph on his "biography" section. This therefore made it read "His (favorite) boyhood team was Liverpool F.C. even though he would later join rivals Manchester United . I therefore changed it to the UK "favourite". I mean, it's no biggy, but it's best if we try and keep things consistant so for articles originally written in US English we continue to use US spelling and vice versa. I'm sorry for being so pedantic :) Sorry I can't actually point out the edit directly but I'm VERY tired. If it wasn't you then I do apologise. I also apologise for how I came off in the above comments, I didn't mean to be so rude. hedpeguyuk 21:45 11 July 2006 (UTC)

No worries. I'm sorry. I get easily confused. Just tell me to get lost! Well, that's what four hours sleep in three days does to you. As it's already 11PM I'd better go. Sorry again :) hedpeguyuk 22:03 11 July 2006 (UTC)

Ashley Cole[edit]

please note that in the infobox, the appearances/goals apply to domestic league appearances only. therefore i reverted to the previous statistic. Chensiyuan 15:50, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

2006 World Cup Squad templates[edit]

I noticed you removed {{England Squad 2006 World Cup}} from Cole's page three times. You may not have known that older World Cup templates were listed at WP:TfD on June 30 (by me) and no consensus to delete them was reached. This means that if an England 2002 World Cup Squad box existed, it would also appear on Cole's page. If you want to list the 2006 templates for deletion I will support you, but we should respect the consensus. Older WC templates can be seen here.  Slumgum T. C.   16:35, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

re: Eric Bana (in?) The Golden Compass Movie[edit]

I understand your argument, but only confirmed film roles should be added to articles. A while ago when people where talking about the Hulk 2 and editor kept on adding it to the article just because I producer said Bana was going to be in it. A couples months on and there has been no official confirmation. I'm just trying to avoid from making the article look like a fan page, mentioning every single movie he's supposed to appear in. I went through the article and do not see any mention of Bana being tipped for playing James Bond. I wrote the article myself and don't believe it's in there. But I am sorry about removing your edit without giving you a proper reason why. -- Underneath-it-All 14:02, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
