A tag has been placed on Ebooray, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Ebooray and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Victao lopes (talk) 01:28, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not contesting your existence, nor Ebooray's. But, as you said, your article was only promoting the website. Remember that in in Wikipedia, we do not allow blatant advertising for companies (See CSD G11). If you want to write about Ebooray, feel free to do it, but remember to write it in a neutral point o view, to assert its notability (see WP:WEB for a guideline on notability of websites), and to cite the references. For example, instead of writing "Ebooray is what you need to to transform you life through health and wellness", write "Ebooray is a website launched in February 13, 2007 (just an example of date), and which objective is to help people to (whatever Ebooray wants to help people with)". I'm not really familiarized with the subject, but I can help you with any doubts you may have. The links I gave you above are really helpful to bring your article into accordance with our policies. My computer is experiencing some errors when displaying some websites. Wikipedia and my home page are the only pages I can visit for now. Unfortunately your links are among the ones I can't visit yet, so I'll check them later.
As for the symbols, don't worry, it took me a long time to get familiarized with all them. If you type "~~~~" in the end of this a message, it will add links to your User page and to your talk page. When you're editing a page, If you take a look on the table below the line "Do not copy text from other websites without a GFDL-compatible license. It will be deleted.", you'll see many symbols divided into groups (Wiki markup, Symbols, Characters, Greek, Cyrillic and IPA. Most of the "Symbols" you already have on your keyboard. The "Characters, Greek, Cyrillic and IPA" are used only in some special articles which require such symbols. Having that in mind, you should know only a few of the "Wiki markup". When I was unexperienced at Wiki, I would click in the "Edit page" to see how could users create those templates, symbols, etc, and this way I could learn more about Wiki formatting. Cheers!
