Your recent editing history at Rushcliffe School shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. –Davey2010Talk 15:07, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits

[edit]

Your edits to Rushcliffe School have a clearly promotional tone and are not fully backed by reliable sources. Of particular concern are the listing of student names, which must be attributed to reliable sources, if they should be included at all. We take our policy about living persons very seriously, and those who edit war or continually add contentious information about living people can be blocked from editing.

I am also concerned that you may have a conflict of interest in editing this article. If you are an employee, contractor, or otherwise paid by the school, you must disclose this clearly to comply with Wikipedia's Terms of Use. You can do so at Talk:Rushcliffe School or on User:EdgyMatrix.

Do not re-revert the article again. You can edit the article, but you must rewrite your additions to speak from a neutral point of view and provide references for any content that concerns a living person. —Guanaco 15:39, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you need help or further explanation, you can add {{help me}} to this talk page and someone will come by to answer your questions. I'll also be watching for a short while to assist you if needed. —Guanaco 15:42, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
