Ethan's draft has a neutral tone and is properly sourced. I think it does a good job of, first, proving that the Taíno culture is still alive to this day, despite the fact that people have been taught otherwise. The draft follows a proper order and structure in that it first make the claim that the Taíno are not of the past, and then gives examples of the many things that descendants do in modern times. I think it may be easier on the if the contributions were broken up into smaller paragraphs, but this is a minor change. Signal phrases do need to be added. Also, some grammatical things could be fixed, although this is not incredibly vital in a first draft. I think the phrase "all sorts of diseases" could be edited to sound more formal. In conclusion, I think this contribution is a necessary and pertinent contribution that will benefit the article.

Peer feedback[edit]

I received mostly positive feedback from my peers. Although my peers did mention that my information is not concise and has more of a neutral tone. My peers think I need to fix little grammatical errors, break the section into smaller paragraphs, and to fix my section so it doesn't come off as an objective fact. I will revise the new content by finding a reliable source that presents the Taínos as extinct and fix little grammatical errors. In addition, I will more than likely break my section into smaller paragraphs.
