Feedback[edit]

You made a request for feed back on July 17.

The biggest problem is that you have no sources for the text. If the band is notable enough to appear in WP, there needs to have been third-party reviews or interviews (not just mentions of the band's name or the names of its members). I am not seeing anything here which can be confirmed. Until that happens, you are unlikely to have the article last on WP. Bielle (talk) 02:02, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Bielle. I thought that might be the case, but wanted to try as bands like The Sweets of Sin (referenced in the Del Webb article) had pages up with even less in the way of references. Articles from the 80's are difficult to source. Is the The Sweets of Sin in a special category? Elec monk (talk) 05:20, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No, it's just as lacking in notability for the purposes of WP. Other stuff exists would apply. Someone will come by and notice that no one has responded to the request for cites on The Sweets of Sin, and the article will likely then go to WP:AFD. Why are notable bands of the 80s so hard to source, I wonder? We do fine as far back as the 20s and 30s.
