Deletion discussion about Dunlop hill
[edit]Hello, Dragonzombie123,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Dunlop hill should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dunlop hill .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
Thanks, Diagear (talk) 04:42, 12 December 2014 (UTC)
Howdy hello! Thanks for your recent addition to Diep.io, but I'm afraid I've had to undo it, as Fandom (along with all user generated resources) is not a reliable source. If you can find the info from a reliable source, such as a game review site like IGN, then feel free to add it back in. Smooth sailing, CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n!⚓ 22:48, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
- I'm sorry! Hopefully I'm responding to your message in the right way, I'm really new to contributing to Wikipedia. I've looked through the official website of Diep.io, but unfortunately I can't find a full changelog there - the only one I can find is the one on Fandom. It has the official changelog messages though, so would that be considered a reputable source? Thanks for your help! ElnuDev (talk) 23:21, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
- ElnuDev, Well we're glad to have ya on, I've given ya a welcome message to liven the place up :) In this case, we often tend to not write much about these video games, because we can't find coverage from reliable sources. The game maker's own website is not an independent source. Plus, if folks want to read all the nitty gritty, they can go to the fandom websites. Sometimes that level of coverage can be seen as "fancruft", an explanatory article can be read at WP:FANCRUFT. Wikipedia does not cover everything, and we often only cover certain subjects with a limited level of depth -- a consequence of the available sources. Also, deciphering a change list may be seen as original research. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n!⚓ 01:44, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
