Please do not add commercial links — or links to your own private websites — to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. See the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks.
External links
[edit]I noticed your question on the help desk and though I would add some comments to the reply you received there.
Some of the links you added were probably removed because they were inserted into articles with which they only had a tangential relationship. Those include Claria Corporation, PornDigger!, Web development, and Webmaster.
Others were probably removed because you inserted them at the top of the external links section. This is a classic tactic of link spammers. See WP:SPAM for more information.
As a side note, I moved your links that were not deleted by somebody else to the bottom of the section in their articles. I also did some trimming of the link description.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page. --GraemeL (talk) 15:36, 8 October 2005 (UTC)
