Questions for editing Alwyn Morris' page: 1. Can more citations for existing content be found? There was only 1 reference used, even though may facts were stated. The one citation was to CBC News, and that link does not work. 2. Was this all of the international competing Morris did? What about national competitions, or pre-professional accomplishments? He is an Olympic medalist, there have to be more events he would have competed in. 3. Is the quote from Morris appropriate for that section of the article? The quote was Morris saying why he was made a member of the Order of Canada. While this is an important achievement, is Morris the most unbiased, and neutral source for this information? Copies from Alwyn Morris Alwyn Morris, CM (born November 22, 1957) is a Canadian sprint kayaker who competed in the 1980s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won two medals at Los Angeles in 1984 with a gold in the K-2 1000 m and a bronze in the K-2 500 m events.

Morris also won two medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with a silver (K-2 1000 m: 1982) and a bronze (K-2 500 m: 1983).

A member of the Mohawk nation in Kahnawake, he was made a Member of the Order of Canada in 1985. He received the National Aboriginal Achievement Award, now the Indspire Awards, in the sports category in 1996. In an April 2009 interview, Morris indicated that he was appointed to the Order of Canada for "... work with Aboriginal youth in the field of Alcohol and Drug abuse" and that he was senior advisor to the Chief and Council of the Kahnawake Mohawks for twelve years.

Morris was honored in 2009, bearing the 2010 Olympic torch through the Kahnawake Territory.[1]

Hi Erin!

First of all, I like the way that your article is organized. I like that you broke it down by each sport that she participated in, and described her accomplishments in detail.

I also like your introduction, I think it summarizes the important points of your article very well without going into too much detail.

You also did a very good job of referencing all your sources, both in your article and in your resource section. All the links lead to the right sources and are easy to access.

I also enjoyed your "awards" section, I thought you did a good job of summarizing her awards and accomplishments.

One thing I would say is to make sure you maintain a neutral point of view. You did a good job of that through the majority of your article, however, one part in your section on softball states that she was a "star player" and that her performance led her team to 5 victories and won them the tournament. This could be seen as being too biased by the wiki editors.

Another point that I think could be changed is in your section about her awards and accomplishments, where you state that Beaver had accumulated countless other similar awards, and then you state again that Beaver had one numerous awards in hockey. I found this to be a little repetitive, so I think you could do without the "Bev Beaver has won countless other similar awards part" and just go straight into her awards for hockey.

Overall, I think your article is very well organized and provides some great information about Beaver and her accomplishments. Keep up the good work!
