Karachay-Balkar alphabet

[edit]

Hello. I wanted to ask because Gochiyayeva & Suyunchev 1989 list нъ instead of нг, whether it's an error in that book or it changed recently. Or is it a regional difference? -- Prince Kassad (talk) 15:14, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There was a regional difference before 1990. нг — in Kabardino-Balkaria, and нъ — in Karachay-Cherkessia. But now there is no difference. --Iltever (talk) 17:35, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Mr. lltever, I would like to condemn what you did on "Elbrus", which is a peak in Kabardino Balkaria, and historically was an Adyghe peak (Kabardian) before the Karachai and Malqars (who are a Turkish nations) that came from eastern Asia, even their language do not categorized as a Caucasian language, and were not originally from the north Caucausus, and due to the continues attacks from the Russians, the Malqars took the mountain as a shelter, and which did not change the fact that Elbrus was/is an Adyghe mountain and has an adyghe name and you should not delete it, because you can't just delete the truth :) Best Regards, ShapsougSochi1864 —Preceding unsigned comment added by ShapsougSochi1864 (talkcontribs) 17:13, 17 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
