Nomination of Judy Abel for deletion[edit]

I've looked at your other bios also. I think some of the people will indeed meet out notability standard, but even for those you are including way too much detail. As a start, I;d suggest eliminating the long quotation sections talking about their philosophies and intentions. And its usually not a good idea to include really minor material, like notes of a $500 contribution, because it makes the article look as if there's too little important material. I'll be glad to help you with the notable ones, as I do have some knowledge of the general background. DGG ( talk ) 19:28, 9 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I see got started with Elana Maryles Sztokman, but how about the long quotes? That is not WP style. If you want these articlese kept, you cut them to about 1/3 the current size DGG ( talk ) 13:35, 10 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi thank you so much for all the help and advice. You're totally right- a lot of what I initially deemed as important or a feature of being thorough I now see as completely unnecessary and extraneous. Going to continue trying removing all such details. On "the conflict of interest," the thing is I'm a just high school intern at JOFA (hence the last part of my username) and inspired by the WikiWomen's Collaborative was assigned to compile profiles of Jewish Women to add to Wikipedia. As a new user I'm still getting adjusted (not even sure I'm responding in the right place) and am having difficulties properly citing and maneuvering on Wikipedia---but now I'm just worried that Judy Abel and the other profiles for women I have not yet added will be subject to deletion? How do I assert their notability or ensure their pages are kept? Esther Levy JOFA (talk) 13:55, 10 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You will need to follow the above. Best Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 20:00, 9 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
