Hi, nice page so far; I like the topic. I was just skimming it though and noticed that when you are talking about older women, you say that there can be changes in the vagina and that there is a change in the vaginal lubrication. Class project?[edit]

You appear to be involved in a related complex of articles that may have been created as a class project. While Wikipedia does not discourage such activities per se, we do ask that contributors abide by our editing policies. In particular, I have blocked one participant for resolutely posting copyrighted text, which we cannot accept, even after repeated warnings. Additionally, several of the articles appear to be largely original research, which is not appropriate for an encyclopedia, or which may represent content forks, such as Female contraception, which overlaps with Birth control. There is also a very US-centric tone to the articles, which is at odds with our goal of creating an encyclopedia with relevance to the world at large. Can you enlighten me on this? In general, when we see editors creating new articles in this manner, we try to advise them to focus on the improvement of existing articles, rather than creating articles for the sake of new articles. I would be interested in talking to your instructor, so that we can help to guide projects like this without conflicting with Wikipedia's editing guidelines. We appreciate your contributions, and want to help. However, we don't want Wikipedia to be used as a host for class assignments: it may be more appropriate to improve existing articles than to create something new that may overlap with existing content. Thanks for the response. Usually, when there's a class project like this, we ask that it be advised by an experienced Wikipedian, and preferably that the course instructor have some experience with Wikipedia. This is because the encyclopedia's matured beyond the point that you can just pick a topic and write a new article without overlapping existing content. Other Wikipedians may edit the content, merge it, delete it, ask for changes, and generally make it hard to do as a class project. Your class has added quite a bit of useful content, and we appreciate it. However, I'd really like to talk to your instructor about more effective ways to use Wikipedia for class projects.
