User talk:Executionerken
Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Executionerken, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Amah Mutsun, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! —C.Fred (talk) 01:36, 19 December 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Amah Mutsun, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. ThePlatypusofDoom (talk) 01:37, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
- Ken: The editting on the Amah Mutsun page was at the request of the Tribe as they wish to redo the page on their behalf. My group was responsible for the first draft but we removed it at their request. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Executionerken (talk • contribs)
This is the only warning you will receive about ownership of articles. The next time you continue to disruptively edit Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Exemplo347 (talk) 01:56, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
Hello
[edit]Subjects of articles don't really get much of a say in an article about them. In fact, they normally get less say. See our conflict of interest guidelines, and our policy that articles aren't owned by people. Thank you. ThePlatypusofDoom (talk) 01:57, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
- Also, are you being paid to edit this? If so, see our guidelines on paid editing. ThePlatypusofDoom (talk) 01:59, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
- Further, whoever created the initial draft of the page released their text irrevocably under the Creative Commons CC BY-SA 3.0 License. Effectively, that means the text is now Wikipedia's to do with as it please—including leave it in place as the article for the group. —C.Fred (talk) 02:00, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
- However, Ruochuanwang was the only editor to make substantive contributions to the article, so they do have the prerogative to request deletion under speedy deletion criterion G7. —C.Fred (talk) 02:18, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
Hi, this is Ruochuan. As I lastly mentioned on that page, we were request to remove the page by our project superviosr, we have to take it down. Since we are using a lot of resources from the tribe. A large portion of it has copyright issues if we don't get their approval. And in the end, it seems like they don't really like our work and they decide to do it themselves. So we can't really posting it since it might be considering plagiarism. Therefore, I have to take it down.
We are not being paid and this is an academic and educational project. It is a collaboration between several organization and Colleges and universities. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ruochuanwang (talk • contribs) 03:03, 19 December 2016 (UTC)

- @Ruochuanwang: The copyright concerns might have led to the deletion of the page. However, the reason I deleted it had nothing to do with the request of the project supervisor. What it did have to do with was that you were the only editor who added substantive content to the page, and you requested deletion. The request of the sole contributor is a situation where speedy deletion of the page is allowed.
- That said, if a representative of the tribe recreates the page, they will still be subject to the conflict of interest restriction on editing the page. They aren't forbidden from creating the page, but it is strongly discouraged. —C.Fred (talk) 03:18, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
