don't believe until it happen to myself...
many of friends bid and bought from ebay. if the items are brandname. it's always arrived in fake. one of the case, my friend, last year, she bid one gucci bag from power seller in ebay whose the number of item sold is over 2000 sth. she was outbid by other bidder. after that she recieved mail from seller the the winner didn't want the item. he could sell to her in her last bid price if she still wanted. so, she took the offer. one week later, she recieved the package that was shipped from singapore. ??? she bid from american seller, how come it's shipped form singapore. after openned the box, the bag looked really fake... you can tell. i can tell.
what happed to me is... last month i recived a gift. it is neverfull GM. it's authentic with reciept from LV shop. it's very nice. however, too big for me. i decided to get another neverfull MM, and sold the GM one.
my sister, she is in america. she told me that it 's easy to sold in ebay. i don't have to wait for long time, unlike sell in secondhand shop. the market is wider. i agree with that fact.
i try to post on ebay... it's really complicate. only register, i was asked to put credit card number. when i was about to finish my listing, it said i needed paypal account. so, i registed for paypal account, and waited another month to verify credit card. i talk to my sister about the situation. she told she didn't have to do that. she din't give her credit when she bid thing on ebay. that's weird!! and she sold many things on ebay, she also din't have paypal account. weird again!!! she offered me her account, but i think it 's waste to pay for transfering fee. i better sold with my account, the money would be directly to bank in my asian hometown.
the first bad feeling was when i complete such complicate steps, i would like to post my bags only five days. cause i 'd planned to be out of country. the system was not allowed me to post 5. why again??? my sis she always posted 5 days. sometimes, only 3 days, she can whatever she wanted. after i posted, i search for my item, i found other two GM bags. i had checked the pics of both, can quarantee they both were fakes. (compareing with the one i owned the patterns were much different. plus with, i was kind of LV addict, i owned over 30 LV bags. it just kinda knew, when it's not right.) i also had my friends looked at the listings.
the second bad, there were many buyers interested in my bag, maybe cause it's already off stock. the bid number was very high. many asked me questions which i was happy to answer them, i also posted to my listing, so i din't have to answer same questions. one of buyer asked me to give more pics. i tried to post more, found out that i couldn't change the listing. the msg to me was the item was suspected ' not genuise'. i wondered, what to judge!!, and that's the reason i can't add more pics?? i try to contact back to the one asked for pics. it happened that i couldn't contact them too after i answered them questions. the respond button was just useless. the worst is yet to come!! believe me!!
the thing is after day5, my listing is removed without telling why. i 's so angry. i contacted to ebay, it turned out my item was suspected not authentic. i pointed out how to check the genuise comparing with others' two listings that was neverfull GM too. i recieved the answers that could be concluded 'there are many fakes on ebay, he/she wouldn't try to relist my listing.'!!!!!! i reported them again about two fake bags. another day after there were still the listings. another worst is still, i had to pay for my listing, i think it kinda automatically cut from credit card. such a bad bad experience, bad feeling, waste of time, and money. i should use my sis 's account. it might be much much easier.
i hope you don't have to meet such experience like this. i can't stop wondering that, is it about i'm in developing country? they judge, and act like i don't deserve that kind of right. i can tell you i have been travelling many countries in this world. some cities in developing countries are more civilize than some in developed countries. what to judge. some of us have money to buy things too, and some of us recieved higher educated too.
in fact, i might still be one of ebay's buyer if they just informed that no asian sellers. i can't find one, anyway, or hardly find one.
i have to admit that is such a bad bad experience. never ever ever recieved those kind of treat before.
