OCLC Number in addition to ISBN suggestion
[edit]Just something I'm interested in promulgating since I see you list books on your user page with the ISBN links.
- First, try this: Click on one of your favorite books' OCLC number: 50292267
If you use the OCLC template like this
OCLC Number {{OCLC search link|60348876}}
and insert your own OCLC number (i.e., replace 60348876 with the OCLC number of your item), a single click on the link pulls up that specific item in OCLC's Open WorldCat - neat thing then is that you can set your zip code (stored as a cookie for later use) and see how far away copies of the book are located.
The difference is the ISBN link requires an extra step or two to use, the OCLC link pulls up the book immediately. FYI, the OCLC number for any book in Open WorldCat is part of the bibliographic record. --Quartermaster (talk) 19:17, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Fazul requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you.

Proposed deletion of Foemmel's Conundrum
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Foemmel's Conundrum, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Disambiguation link notification for September 23
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Men Who Built America (TV Series), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page History Channel (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The article Donna Tracy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unsourced BLP, I can find no secondary independent sources to notability
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Cardiffbear88 (talk) 21:04, 2 March 2020 (UTC)
